The blog revival
Well, needless to say it's been a while since my last post.
However, I miss the blogging days and I am here to get back into the swing of things.
I love the way subconscious thoughts can be expressed on paper (or web) and come out in a way that isn't always thought through and planned.
I don't really have much of plan for this blog, hopefully it can be a place where I can put down my thoughts in an understandable and interesting way, or at least can be a place where what's going on in my mind isn't lost somewhere between the frontal lobe and some other scientific part of the brain.
Some people like to have a blog for the sole purpose of having some sort of fingerprint on the world web. Some like to somehow use it to put their thoughts or ideas out to those who read it.
For me, I'm not really sure. Sometimes the thought of writing randomly on a blog page seems weird but in some ways it also gives me the chance to have a blank canvas on which I don't need to paint a picture that describes what I want to say but I can use words.
Some say, and apparently it is scientific, that the brain is made up of two specific parts. One, being the logical, number tossing, patterned side. The other, the creative, artistic, colourful side. According to research the majority of people are gifted around either side, and for those special people, gifted in both.
ie. You're either naturally good at Maths (logic side) or English (creative).
Since I did 6th form Maths and struggled through the entirety of the course, and, then did it again the next year to try and improve, I am obviously not gifted in the logical, number built, scientific side of the brain. I am therefore endeavoring, then, to work on building my ability to write, be creative and stay colourful.
After all, what's life without colour?
Black, white or gray I guess. But then again, is black a colour or a shade?
